The elastic waistband sits perfectly flat under a t-shirt, and the organic pima cotton feels like it's already been washed a hundred times. I've basically lived in these since they arrived, they're just the right weight for lounging around the house.
The grosgrain drawstring is a nice touch — it actually stays tied instead of slipping loose like the cheap cord on my old lounge pants. Waistband sits flat and doesn't dig in when I'm curled up on the couch. Pima cotton feels noticeably softer after the first wash, too.
I've been living in these since they arrived. The Pima cotton is that soft, broken-in feel right out of the wash, and the elastic waistband with the grosgrain drawstring actually stays put instead of digging in. Wore them on a long flight and forgot I had them on.
