Silk Belted Midi Skirt

I wore this to a dinner and ended up sitting for three hours without a single crease, which says a lot for crêpe de chine. The belt cinches exactly where I want it, and the midi length hits just below the knee on my 5'6" frame.

The silk has a heavier, fluid drape than I expected, so the midi length hangs straight instead of clinging. I tied the belt loosely and it stayed put through a full day of errands.

Wore this to a dinner and the Crêpe de Chine really does drape beautifully, it moves with you instead of stiffening up like cheaper silk skirts I've tried. The belted waist cinches just enough without digging in, and I stayed comfortable through a long evening.
