The Toquilla straw is surprisingly soft — no itchy forehead after a full day outside. It rolls up small enough to tuck in my carry-on, and it bounced back into shape without a crease.
Took this to Mexico and it survived being shoved in my carry-on without losing its shape at all. The Toquilla straw is way lighter than I expected, so I forget I'm even wearing it until I notice my face isn't burning.
