Wore these to a client dinner and they moved so nicely I forgot I had them on. The cropped cut hits right at the ankle, which finally works with my flats. Creases do show after a long day, but a quick steam sorts it out.
The Crêpe de Chine silk has this lovely weight to it that hangs perfectly without clinging. Wore them to the office with heels, then straight to dinner — the paperbag waist stayed put all day. Easily the most comfortable dressy pant I own now.
I was worried the cropped cut would look awkward on my 5'4" frame, but the paperbag waist sits exactly where it should and the silk drapes without clinging. Wore them to a client lunch then straight to drinks and didn't feel overdressed either place.
